Govern
4.2.1 · What it is
A quality system for AI in legal work: policies people can follow, a register of what is in use, a standard for evaluating tools before and after purchase, a verification protocol and an incident process. Where litigation is in scope it covers the practice notes and directions of the courts you appear in, so disclosure and verification are built into the way work leaves the building.
It is written against your real workflows rather than as a policy nobody reads, and it comes back for review after it has been in use, so you can see what is followed, what is not, and what to change.
4.2.2 · Who it is for
General counsel, risk and professional standards partners, and the principals of smaller firms who want something the regulator and the insurer will recognise.
Litigation groups and barristers’ chambers appearing in the Supreme Court of Victoria, the Supreme Court of New South Wales, the Federal Court and the Federal Circuit and Family Court. Court registries that need guidance for their own staff and for the profession.
